National Day of Prayer and Repentance, September 26, 10:00 am - Noon, Queen of Martyrs

On Saturday, September 26, there will be a prayer rally on the National Mall in Washington, DC entitled a National Day of Prayer and Repentance. This is an ecumenical movement setting aside a time for one purpose --the return to God and a coming before his presence in humility, sincerity, prayer, repentance, with intercessions for America.
To enter into this time of prayer, Queen of Martyrs Church will be open on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM until 12 noon. During these two hours, we will have periods of quiet prayer, pray all four mysteries of the rosary, read scripture passages and Psalms, and perhaps a song or two ending with God bless America. We hope you will use this opportunity to join us in prayer for our country, our religious freedom, and our own spiritual needs and forgiveness.Come for as long as your schedule permits… 15 minutes, a half an hour, or even the whole two hours! May God bless America and forgive us our sins, and heal our land!
